Sup fam!!!! Nothing too crazy this week so I'll just throw in some highlights!      - We got referred to a house where 12 dudes live. It's basically another frat house full of grown men. We are now teaching 4/12 of them and they have told us their life stories and how they have all gone to prison but are turning their lives around. They also told us all of their prison names haha. We now refer to them as the "prison boys."  - 2 weeks ago we were at an apartment complex and as we were walking back to our car we saw this old man standing by his truck. We asked him if he wanted to hear a message, and he said yes. We asked if we could come back because it was late and we needed to be home and he said he wanted to hear the message right then so we whipped out a minute resto. He told us he had been searching for a different church to go to. we went back this week and had a lesson with him. he told us he use to be a meth and drug addict and was homeless. he told us he didn...

Yooo!!! Happy Monday to all my favorite people!!! Wow, this week was good!! Some crazy stories and highlights of a wild week so buckle up!!!    We had zone conference this week which was really good!! It was focused on Elder Bednar's talk "Quit worrying about it: Is it the Holy Ghost or me?" which I loved. I have struggled sometimes knowing if it's the Holy ghost or just me! And ever since this conference I have realized we really do need to quit worrying about it. Sometimes we're following the spirit and we don't even realize it. Here's just one out of MANY examples I have had this week.     We had a lesson with our friend Michael. I haven't really shared his back story but let me share because it's crazy. Never in my life have I met someone with a harder life. His mom always dated horrible guys so he was always fighting guys off at 14. He got into hard drugs and has been addicted most of his life. He's almost been killed 10 times. He had been...

Wow, what a week it has been! Full of so many miracles!!!!!   We had a super dope lesson with this lady we are teaching. A little back story, my first week here we were going to knock a former (person who was once taught) at this apartment complex. They didn't answer so we started walking back to our car. As we were walking back we saw a lady standing outside a couple doors down. We asked her if she wanted to hear a message and she immediately said no and laughed at us haha. I boldly asked "Why?" She said that she already believes in God and didn't really have much of an explanation. Then she asked what we were doing out here and was interested in why we are missionaries. She then said we could come back. We came back the next week and taught Resto, gave her a book of mormon and invited her to read the introduction and to continue if she wanted to. Whatzzz good everyone!?!? Another week out here and alive,  just kidding, but for real sometimes idk how we don't get shot out here!! Some of the streets we go to I feel like I'm in the hood. No cap. But it's okay we are chilling, We fear no man. This week nothing too crazy so like usual imma just give some highlights!!     - Did a TON of service this week. Spent 3 hours with our district building a cabinet and didn't even finish. The instructions were completely helpless and the first step was the cabinet complete. Bruh. I did build both drawers, kinda proud of myself ngl     - We had a very powerful lesson with one of our pbts! We were planning to teach Restoration but we actually ended up teaching Word of Wisdom which is totally the opposite direction but that's how it worked out!
