Yo!! Happy Memorial Day!!! I hope you all have a super awesome day! I am currently driving home from Nauvoo!! We got to go do a session today with 35 other missionaries and wow, it was so cool!!! We were able to mob around Nauvoo and tour some of the sites, which was so fun!!! It's so cool to walk the same streets that Joseph Smith himself walked. My mission is so dang cool. I am so extremely blessed! This week was super busy and good, so I will try to keep it somewhat short with highlights, haha. Monday: We had a very interesting lesson with a less active member and her boyfriend. Somehow, we got on the topic that he had served in prison for 5 years, and without asking, he whipped out his phone and pulled up his mugshot and started reading all of his charges, haha. This dude had just about every charge. I'll leave out all of the details, but ngl, I was kinda worried for us, haha. After that, we found a lady who was literally so sweet! She had 2 of the cutest kids I've ever...

Happy Monday, everyone! I hope you all know how much I LOVE you. This week was good and hard. Sometimes, I can feel Satan working extra hard on me, and at the beginning of this week, I felt very inadequate as a missionary, but mainly as a leader. But with that being said, I'm grateful for what I am learning and for the fact that I am always able to rely on the Lord for strength. I just need to say how much I LOVE OLD PEOPLE! My heart could literally explode with how much I love them. It literally hurts. That's all, hahaha. I'm grateful for the spirit restraining me, hahaha. This week, we talked to this lady who was not the nicest and told us we should pick a different block. I'm grateful the spirit holds me back because without it, I'd probably be in jail right now, to be honest! Just kidding. A couple of weeks ago, this lady sent in a referral (request to meet with us) and we stopped by and taught her (Shannon) and this other dude (Robert). So this week, we went ba...

Wow, I just want to start by saying how much I love my mission!!! If there's one thing all of you get from reading my weeklies, I hope you can feel how much I love my mission. I am so grateful to be here. I can't express it enough. I literally get to talk to random people and knock on random doors and testify of Jesus Christ! I am sooo blessed!!!!!! I pray and hope that I never forget the feelings and spirit that I have felt on my mission. It has truly changed me completely. Anyways, my heart is just too full!!! This week was FIRE! We had a general authority, Elder Bennett, come for a mission tour!! We drove up to Davenport Monday night so that we could be there early Tuesday for a leadership meeting with Elder Bennett. After that, we had zone conference with him as well! Literally SO GOOD! I literally filled half my notebook with notes. That's all I'm sayin'. That night, we stayed in Davenport again, so we met up with the sisters for dinner at a super boujee restau...

Yo, everyone! I love and miss you all. Lowkey, this email is gonna be short, so just some quick highlights. Said bye to Sister Otto, and ngl, it was so hard, and I am still sad haha, but it's okay. Catch us runnin' it back in 9 months. But anyways, my new comp is Sister Colson, and she is SO SICK! Literally, so sweet, fun, and nice! I love her so much! She loves Red Bull and played bball in high school, so like, literally, we are BALLIN' OUT HERE, no cap.  She had me on skates today, but that's okay because it's come back szn next week. She also just informed me today that she wants to cop a pair of Dunks, so like, ya already know I'm helpin' her do that. Our district has 12 people, so literally half of the zone, and it's SO FIRE! I love it! I have never laughed harder, I swear. Carissa (Madi's mom) told us they're getting married soon so she can get baptized, and we asked Jake if he wants to be baptized, and he said yes, so we invited him to pra...

If there is one thing my mission has blessed me with, it's been companions who I have loved so incredibly dearly. When I got the call from Sister Barney that I was going back with Sister Otto, my first thought was "wow, run it back??" Haha, but fr I was wondering what God had planned there. Now I know that it was everything both of us needed! Everyone told me that "killing" a companion would be hard. For me, it was one of the most sacred experiences I've had on my mission. It, no doubt in my mind, shaped the rest of my mission! It has been exactly what God knew I needed. I am so grateful for Sister Otto and all that she taught me, and I'm even more grateful that God trusted me enough to be her last companion! Okay, now yoooo! Welcome back to my weekly vlog, hahah!! I hope everyone is doing good!! This week was soo fire, let's run it up!!! Monday: For Pday, Sister Otto and I went to Peoria and went to Target, TJ Maxx, Bath and Body Works (yuh), and T ...
