Sup everyone! I love you all! Another week out here! Also, it's gone from 80 degrees to like 30 within a couple of days, so that is super unfortunate haha! It's all good though! This week was good and busy, so I'm just gonna give some highlights. Monday night after pday ended, we were going to visit someone, and right before we got out of the car, we witnessed a breakup. Literally. The man was sobbing, walking away, and she ran inside. Next thing you know, the man comes sprinting back for her! Fresh from the notebook. Pray for your man's, fr! Anyways, we went to another part of our area that is 30 minutes away and were able to give Floyd a Book of Mormon! We also drove past a cheer gym there, and it took me wayyyy back to my MACS days and made me realize how much I miss cheer, fr! This past week, I have spent some time reflecting on my mission: why I chose to serve a mission, but most importantly, why I stay! One year ago from this past Wednesday, I opened my mission call. I never knew the impact my mission would have on me. I never knew I could have such a deep, profound love for people just after meeting them one time. When I first came out, my mission president told me, "It's not why you come out, it's why you stay." I know he wasn't lying when he said that. To be honest, I don't really know why I chose to serve a mission. I honestly felt like I had my life figured out! As we all know, plans always change! Mine certainly did! I felt a strong urge that I needed to serve a mission! After a lot of praying and talking with my brother and parents, I decided that that's what I wanted to do! Supp to all my fav people!!! I hope you all had a great week and Easter! My week was crazy busy but GOOD! So let's run it up!!    Tuesday: we survived another tornado! We had to stay in most of the day but then we were able to go out for a couple of hours. Then it started to storm so we made it home right in time for the sirens to go off and hide in the closet hahaha    Wednesday: had a super good lesson with Blake and put him on date, let's goo!!!!    Thursday: went to Nauvoo for the day!!! Sister Otto had something called a "sprint trip" where Pres and Sister Barney take the people who are about to go home to Nauvoo to do a session at the temple and tour all the sites, carthage, etc! Yoo everyone!!!! What's good!? This week was literally insane so imma try and keep things somewhat short but we will see how this goes haha. there's a lot to say    Monday: had pday with the district at the church! We played some pickle ball and I figured out that I'm lowkey cracked! What can I say?    Tuesday: had MLC (mission leadership council) on zoom! It was super uplifting and honestly it was so cool hearing a lot of things that were shared! grateful to be a part of it, I can already see how it's helping me become a better missionary!! Then, we had exchanges! I was runnin it back with Sister Waite!!!
