HAPPY HALLOWEEN to my favorite people on earth!!!!!! I hope everyone has a good and safe day!! This week was fireeee yuhh      Monday-Tuesday we had exchanges and zone pday!!! We played pumpkin bowling and my district took the dub. We're built differently, what can I say? On exchanges I was with Sister Platt from South Jordan, Utah!! she went to Bingham hs (gross haha jkjk) and she goes home next transfer! kinda weird being with a missionary that is going home soon ngl! But it was super fun and I learned a lot from her!! exchanges are literally so fun I love them!!!      This week at district council me and Sister Otto got a notification on our phones that we had a referral. everytime we get referrals we kinda get clowned so I was thinking it was another one of those. we looked at all the information and called her after DC! Whatzzzz gooddd everyone?! This week was busy and awesome!! So let's get into it!! Monday night: miracles baby  We are teaching this lady who is so sweet! We felt like we should just show up so we did! We knocked and the boyfriend let us in and was like she will be so happy to see you guys. She walked out in tears, she had just had a miscarriage that day. She told us that she felt like we were gonna stop by and she is so glad we did. Her boyfriend joined us for our lesson and so did 2 of their boys and they were all in awe. We told her that she will be with her baby again someday and she just sat and cried. We were in the right place at the right time and this family's life will forever be changed because of that moment. Whether or not they accept the gospel, they now are at peace knowing they will see their baby again someday!      Wednesday we had zone conference which was so fun!!!! Yooo happy Monday fam and friends!!! I miss and love you all!!! Once again it feels like I blinked and it's pday again!! Time is non-existent as a missionary that's for sure haha! I wanna start with a story!      During my 10 years of Cheering, every coach I ever had always told me and my teammates "I can't want it for you." I remember we would always talk about winning and we always wanted to be the best!! (Cuz who wants to lose) But at the end of hard practices where my team was struggling my coaches would always say "you know I want this so bad for you, but I can't want it for you. You have to want it bad enough for yourself in order for it to happen." Well this is how I feel every single day as a missionary. I teach these people and all I want to do is help them change and become better because I know this gospel will change their life. I want them to "win." But me wanting it for them does nothing. We out here!!!! Another week with a lot of wild events as usual. expect nothing less from mount pleasant baby lets gooo!!      Transfers!! Got my new comp she is from West Jordan, Utah!! Her name is Sister Otto!!!  She's been out almost 11 months! She is one of the sweetest people ever! It feels so weird because she's still training me, but I like training her at the same time because she knows literally no one here! This week we were doing service and she looked at me and goes "sister liljenquist did you ever have culture shock when you got here?" I started dying laughing. I completely forget that a lot of the things that happen here are just not normal. I was trippin because I remember being in that exact spot over a month ago just so in shock I thought I was gonna die. Don't worry she's getting more settled and we now laugh about a lot that goes on here. She's served in Des Moines and Iowa City her whole mission, so first time in the boonies for her!!! ...

Hey everyone!!! How is everyone doing?? I hope everything is going well!! And I hope everyone had an amazing general conference weekend!!! This week has been insanely busy and crazy for me!!! We got transfer news last night and we didn't really think anything of it because you usually stay with your trainers for 2 transfers, well Psyche !!!! Sister Johnsen is getting transferred which means I'm leading this area and getting a new trainer!!! So pray for me because I am mad and stressed haha! As sad as I am that Sister Johnsen is leaving I know this is what the lord wants for the both of us!! I'm SO grateful for everything she taught me!!! And I can't wait to run it back with her in 16 months!! She really is the goat!!!      - General conference as a missionary let me tell you, it's simply unreal!!
