Be True To Who You Are- Week 60

Wow, there aren't enough words to describe how good this week was! I'm extremely exhausted because of how busy we were, but it was too good! Tuesday night we had the most incredible lesson with our friend Lindsey. Okay, flashback a couple of weeks ago when our member texted us at the end of P-day: "My coworker wants to meet with you. Here's her name and number, text me, and I'll be at all the lessons." I about passed away because this never happens. Anyways, our member came, and we had one of the most spiritual lessons I've had on my mission, one of the most powerful restoration lessons I've taught. Hi to all my favs! First and foremost, 3-0, BYU is cracked. I know I just sent out an email like 3 days ago, but I know y'all are just dying for this email, so here you go!! JKJK, this one is gonna be below mid, but Mel insists on me writing them!! Not too much happened this week after Thursday other than I've been pretty sick, so that's been a little tough. We have some good things this upcoming week that I am stoked about!! As a mission a couple of weeks ago, we studied the talk "Lord I believe" by Elder Holland, and of course, Holland is my favorite, so this was EXTRA good!! He says, "Let me be clear on this point: I am not asking you to pretend to have faith you do not have. I am asking you to be true to the faith you do have. Sometimes we act as if an hon...

I'm just gonna apologize right now for not writing an email last week because now I feel like I have so much to say, so I'll try to keep this somewhat brief, haha. We got transfer news last night, and Sister Cowley and I are both staying!!! I could not be happier!!! This past week, we were able to go to another district in our zone's district council, and it was the last one of the transfer, so we did a testimony meeting talking about what we've learned this transfer. So, I've been doing a lot of reflecting on these past 6 weeks. I have learned SO MUCH. It has truly been the most JOY-filled transfer ever. I have spent so much time on my knees, pleading with the Lord, and it has changed my whole view on missionary work. This transfer has been so different and unique in so many ways. It has been such a different type of missionary work than I'm used to. But we have seen COUNTLESS miracles, and we have followed the Spirit and tr...
