Happy Monday, everyone! Hope you all had the best week/Thanksgiving. Here are some highlights of my week. Okay, so flashback to a couple of weeks ago when I was serving in Indianola. Sister Hopkins and I went to visit a referral who said she wasn't interested. We noticed a dude sitting on his porch, so we went to walk over, but he was gone, and there was a big pit bull barking at us and running across the deck. We decided to knock on the house next door. When we went to knock, the dude walked back outside. We walked back over to him and asked if he wanted to hear a message. He said yes, so we walked up and sat down and realized real quick that the man wasn't in the right state of mind. We respectfully told him that our message is the most important message he could ever hear, but that the Holy Ghost testifies of the truth we share, and that he wasn't in a place for the spirit to be. He then proceeded to tell us, "I'm Jesus." We quickly looked at each other, th...

God's Love Is Perfect

POV: You know on Christmas Eve how you go to bed so anxious for Christmas morning to come? Or when you go to Disneyland, and the night before, you can't fall asleep because you're so excited and anxious to get there? This is how I feel every day! My mission just keeps getting better and better. I find more joy every minute. This is truly the happiest I've ever been in my entire life. The BEST decision I have ever made was choosing to serve the Lord. I love that I get to go to bed and wake up with His name right over my heart. I can't wait to hype up my mission to my kids one day, like my dad has done with me. I now understand why my dad talks about his mission so much. Anyways, I can't wait to give you all some highlights from these past 2 weeks!!! To start, I want to share some personal experiences I've been having. These are very sacred to me, but I feel comfortable sharing. Before I came on my mission, everyone talked about "the one." I always heard...

Life In Boujee. I Mean Waukee

Okay, first things first, I don't know how I forgot so much in my email last week, but I did. Chad from Pekin got baptized last Saturday! He had been waiting for a long time, and it was so special to watch him enter the waters of baptism after all he had been through. I'm so grateful I got to witness it over Zoom. I forgot to introduce my new companion, Sister Kinghorn. She's from Rigby, Idaho, and according to Cannon Kelly, we're "identical, and it's gonna be a riot." Shoutout, it has been a riot, and we're just getting started. We keep saying how boujee Waukee is, and it's just straight facts. Pretty sure we've shown everyone and their dog a picture of our apartment because it's just that nice. For once, we feel like we don't stand out. We walk around looking all dressed up in our dresses while walking in these boujee neighborhoods, and it looks like we just got back from a football banquet. To top it all off, we have our matching pla...
