Yo! What's good?! This week literally flew by!!! Probs 'cause I just had pday like 3 days ago, haha. But this week was solid, so I'mma give some highlights!!! Tuesday, we went to the temple to do baptisms with Blake!!! It was so wholesome because my kindergarten teacher, Mrs. Giles, and her husband were there as temple workers and were so good to Blake!! We also had an RM from our stake come to fellowship Blake!!! And of course, it's always so good to be in Nauvoo! I love that place so much!!! Wednesday, we had our ward BBQ, and it was sooo good!!! We had so many people pull up, and it was so awesome! Some of our people brought friends/family!!! And a bunch of less active members came, including ones we haven't met yet! We are continuing to see SOOO many miracles out here in Pekin, baby! Let's gooo! Thursday was pday, so we went to the cat museum! Hi everyone! Y'all are probably wondering why the heck I'm sending my email today, haha! Well, we have transfers this week, and so the president wanted to try a split P-day, so the other half of my P-day is today! Let me just first start by giving a little shoutout to my dad! Obviously, it was Father's Day on Sunday, and if you know me, you know how much I love my dad and how much he means to me!!! And if you know my dad, you know that 1. he cannot get enough of sports, 2. he cannot get enough of fishing and golf, 3. he's horrible at Call of Duty but thinks he's super super good! Hehe, 4. is the most selfless person, 5. has our fridge full of every kind of Mtn. Dew, you name it, and gives it out like it's candy :) I would not be on my mission today if it wasn't for him, and I am eternally grateful for him and his selfless example! Hey everyone! This week was super awesome, but I'm currently balling up, so I don't have a ton of time hahah. So, I'm just gonna give some quick highlights!! Monday night, we had a FIRE restoration lesson and really focused on Joseph Smith with our friend Jason!!! The Spirit was literally so strong! We read parts of Joseph Smith history and asked him what he thinks, and he said, "there's only one God," and we said, "yeah and!??!?" and he said, "that means there's only one true church." FAX. Got a referral from this dude this week and had 2 awesomeee lessons with him!! The second lesson we taught the plan of salvation, and he said something about his girlfriend, so we asked if she would want to join, and he said yes! She lives in a different part of Illinois and has been meeting with missionaries for 3 ish years!!
