Frog Leg?!?!?

Hi everyone!!! I hope y'all had a fantastic week!!! I love and miss each and every one of you!! I can't even lie this week was a little rough so I don't have a ton to talk about.

A lot of our lessons just completely fell through this week and we were getting bailed on left and right haha. Super unfortunate and a big rip but it's okay because we saw some big miracles towards the end of the week!! But God humbled me to say the least!

An elder in my district brought frog legs and I tried it. He says it tastes like chicken. I'm sorry but that is absolutely no lie!!! Not the best thing I've ever tried, that's for sure haha!

Halloween was flippin 'littttt!! We went to a corn maze with our district (super fitting for Iowa amm I right!?) and played games there! We played tug of war and me and Sister Otto obliterated the elders (except for Elder Dunn which he should've lost too so we're gonna count it as a dub) but what can I say? We're just built differently, then that night they played coco over our mission Zoom and we made brownies and painted while watching it!!!! I forget how lit that movie is fr!!

We did meet this dude named Christopher at Arelths house!! (one of our pbts) and every time we go there I swear there is someone new haha!! People just keep popping out it's super lit!!

It absolutely down poured on Friday and it was sooo cool!! I love the rain especially here because it's just another level idk why.

Saturday we had some really cool miracles which were much needed after a crummy week!! we were able to get into contact with Bridget!!! She let us in and we prayed with her and invited her to church! She said yes and she came!!!! She loved it and said she will be back!! I seriously love her soooo much!!!!

My spiritual thought this week is about faith and hope! I have really been studying both of them since I feel like I've been lacking those a little! and these scriptures we've been sharing with our people as well and it's super awesome so I thought I would share!

Moroni 7:40-43, 48

40 And again, my beloved brethren, I would speak unto you concerning hope. How is it that ye can attain unto faith, save ye shall have hope?

41 And what is it that ye shall hope for? Behold I say unto you that ye shall have hope through the atonement of Christ and the power of his resurrection, to be raised unto life eternal, and this because of your faith in him according to the promise.

42 Wherefore, if a man have faith he must needs have hope; for without faith there cannot be any hope.

43 And again, behold I say unto you that he cannot have faith and hope, save he shall be meek, and lowly of heart.

48 Wherefore, my beloved brethren, pray unto the Father with all the energy of heart, that ye may be filled with this love, which he hath bestowed upon all who are true followers of his Son, Jesus Christ; that ye may become the sons of God; that when he shall appear we shall be like him, for we shall see him as he is; that we may have this hope; that we may be purified even as he is pure. Amen.

Faith and hope go together!! without faith we cannot have hope and without hope we cannot have faith!! I invite you all to study faith and hope this week and apply it to your life!!!
