Back To A City Girlll

Suppp everyone!!!! What is upppp!? I hope y'all are doing good!! and I hope you all had a very merry Christmas!! This week was good imma run it up!

- Tuesday we had a super dope lesson with 2 of the people we are teaching! One is 17 and the other is 18 and I literally love them so much!!! They make me feel like I'm just hangin out with friends from home! let's goo

- Wednesday we got dropped by the most elect lady I have ever met. literally shattered my heart but it's okay because one day she will accept this gospel I know without a doubt in my heart!

- Thursday- Friday we were stuck in the apartment all day not allowed to leave. There was a "blizzard" supposedly Wednesday night and the weather dropped below zero and with the wind chill it feels like it got to -34. you step outside and it literally takes your breath away! Iowa is built differently for sho!!

- Saturday we had a Christmas zone conference in Iowa city. super fun!!! Then we got together with our district! We watched the shepherd and bore our testimonies about Jesus Christ and how he has been a light in our lives! It was so cool and the spirit was so strong! I love my district so much!!!

- Sunday (Christmas) was super fun!!! it honestly doesn't feel like Christmas to me hahah. We went to church and then to members for like the whole day! definitely a different Christmas but like every other missionary says, it's one I'll never forget!!! I'm so overwhelmed with how grateful I am for my savior and for all that he has done for me!

- TRANSFERS! we got transfer calls last night and I'm leaving mount pleasant!! literally my heart is shattering even as I write this because I love my district, my comp, mount pleasant, and these people with my WHOLE heart!!! I literally would do anything for any of them!!! you all know I ain't good with goodbyes so pray for me this week please haha!

but I will be headed to des moines!!! back to the city baby lets go!!! shoutout also, I got a Nike there let's goooo!!! might pop off

My son, peace be unto thy soul; thine adversity and thine afflictions shall be but a small moment;

I've been studying Joseph Smith a lot this week and it had me reflecting a lot. There have been many times in my life where I have felt like Joseph asking where God is? I haven't we all felt that way?

I love that he says peace be unto thy soul. and then says his afflictions will be made a small moment. That's a promise! I love that even the prophet Joseph Smith one time asked where God was? He was struggling that bad. which shows that it is okay to feel that way and have those questions of fear and doubt!!!! but heavenly father always reassures us to have peace and he will always deliver us!

I love you all!! I hope you all had the best Christmas and gave yourself some time to think about your Savior and all that he did for you!
