THANK YOU

Hi everyone!!! First things first, THANK YOU SO MUCH for all the birthday wishes!!!!! It means the world to me. 

 


Started off the week with Sister Waite being sick :( So I played mom for the day and took care of her!! 

 

 

Birthday highlights: 

- got sang to 5 different times (in person) and some over the phone (I'm still embarrassed), but I'm so grateful for everyone's kindness <3 

- swahili sisters crocheted me a dolphin 

- DL and his comp gave me my favorite candy (Hershey almond bar of course) 

- Stls also gave me my favorite candy

- Zone lords gave me my favorite redbull and chocolate

- went to Chick Fil A for lunch and they gave me a free cookie!!!

- Sister Waite bought my dinner! We went to an Italian restaurant 

- Zayne drew me the cutest happy birthday picture!

- Roni gave me Dr. Pepper peeps!

- the Larsens (med couple, with the 2 cutest kids) made me a birthday cake!!!

- my fam sent me the cutest stuff 

- the martindales sent me flowers!! 

- my aunts/uncles, and cousins wrote me the cutest letters! 

- the cutest packages (you know who you are:)) 

- Roxann gave me one of her favorite bunny's  

- talking to my family

- KYLE PULLED UP TO BASKETBALL NIGHT LET'S GOOOOOOOOOO 

 


Literally THE BEST BIRTHDAY EVER!!!! I felt so loved!!!!! Thank you thank you thank you for all the kind emails and messages!! It meant SO much to me! I am soooo grateful

 

Other random little highlights this week:

- Gary is no longer being taught by us :( the ZL's are now gonna be teaching him! 

- We helped Michael and Roxann move out of their apartment. They are currently in a hotel with no place to go. Our ward has been amazing and is really helping them, but please, please pray for them! 

- completely pounded snow on saturday! As we were driving home late Saturday night we saw a car crash. The people spoke very little English so they asked us to call 911. We did, and everyone is okay!!! 

- found a lady this week that told us her whole life story. Her 15 year old brother went to jail for luring a dude in, taking his money and drugs and then stabbing the dude. His friends are being charged with murder because they lured a dude in, took his money and drugs then shot him. bruh. 

- had a lesson with Michael and Roxann in their hotel and it made me so trunky 

 


Spiritual thought: 

 


12 Yea, and how is it that ye have forgotten that the Lord is able to do all things according to his will, for the children of men, if it so be that they exercise faith in him? Wherefore, let us be faithful to him.

Happy Monday, everyone! Hope you all had the best week/Thanksgiving. Here are some highlights of my week. Okay, so flashback to a couple of weeks ago when I was serving in Indianola. Sister Hopkins and I went to visit a referral who said she wasn't interested. We noticed a dude sitting on his porch, so we went to walk over, but he was gone, and there was a big pit bull barking at us and running across the deck. We decided to knock on the house next door. When we went to knock, the dude walked back outside. We walked back over to him and asked if he wanted to hear a message. He said yes, so we walked up and sat down and realized real quick that the man wasn't in the right state of mind. We respectfully told him that our message is the most important message he could ever hear, but that the Holy Ghost testifies of the truth we share, and that he wasn't in a place for the spirit to be.
