Fr333dom Rings

Wow, I just want to start by saying how much I love my mission!!! If there's one thing all of you get from reading my weeklies, I hope you can feel how much I love my mission. I am so grateful to be here. I can't express it enough.

I literally get to talk to random people and knock on random doors and testify of Jesus Christ!

I am sooo blessed!!!!!!

I pray and hope that I never forget the feelings and spirit that I have felt on my mission. It has truly changed me completely.

Anyways, my heart is just too full!!! This week was FIRE!

We had a general authority, Elder Bennett, come for a mission tour!!

We drove up to Davenport Monday night so that we could be there early Tuesday for a leadership meeting with Elder Bennett. After that, we had zone conference with him as well! Literally SO GOOD! I literally filled half my notebook with notes. That's all I'm sayin'.

That night, we stayed in Davenport again, so we met up with the sisters for dinner at a super boujee restaurant, and it was so fun!! Then me and Sister Colson just did phone work!

I was joking with the Davenport sisters all day that we were just gonna go talk to everyone we see and find them a ton of people haha. Well, we were sitting outside the sisters' apartment doing some phone calls and noticed 3 people looking for something. We decided to get out and help! Then, as missionaries do, we asked if they would want to hear a message, and they said of course!! We shared a scripture, and the one dude and his little sister started clapping hahah it was so cute!

Anyways, got their numbers and a return appointment for the Davenport sisters!! It was super lit!

Wednesday, we drove up to Iowa City for Missionary Leadership Council with Elder Bennett! It was super good!

We brought 2 members to our lesson with Tim this week, and right after, they go, "Okay, where are we going next?" I was shook, so they literally just knocked doors and visited people with us! SO DRIP!

We were visiting a less active, part-member family this week (let's go) and this dude walks up! We invite him to join, and he loved everything we taught, so we are now going to be teaching him!!! We asked when he is available, and he said "anytime, any day, any hour of the night for God" period king. We asked him what his name is, and he said "freeedom" but with 3 e's for copyright purposes. Sister Colson then spelt it with 3 3's (fr333dom), so we are now going to tell him that that might just be the move. Anyways, he's a dawg, that's all!

Spiritual thought:

Mosiah 18: 8-9

8 And it came to pass that he said unto them: Behold, here are the waters of Mormon (for thus were they called), and now, as ye are desirous to come into the fold of God and to be called his people, and are willing to bear one another’s burdens, that they may be light;

9 Yea, and are willing to mourn with those that mourn, yea, and comfort those that stand in need of comfort, and to stand as witnesses of God at all times and in all things, and in all places that ye may be in, even until death, that ye may be redeemed of God and be numbered with those of the first resurrection, that ye may have eternal life.

May we all stand as witnesses of God and bear one another's burdens.

May we all become like him!

God loves you all!! So do I!!!! Have a blessed week!!!! Blast some Morg Wallen with the windows down for me this week
